If you are still planting plants on your plot “anyhow” – wherever there is space left, we suggest you approach the issue thoughtfully.
An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how to place hosta bushes on a plot so that it looks beautiful.
Single landing
Hosta is exactly the plant that will look attractive even if it grows on its own.
Very large varieties, the height of which exceeds 50 cm, are suitable for single planting. Low-growing hosta will simply “get lost” on the lawn.
By the pond
Instead of lining an artificial pond with stones, using plastic frogs or pots with indoor flowers as decoration, plant hosta bushes on the shore.
The best option is to use many varieties with different colors.
Paired with conifers
Fir trees, thujas, junipers and other conifers surrounded by hostas have long become classics of landscape design.
According to knowledgeable gardeners, no other group of plants provides such a harmonious combination with hostas as conifers.
