Many summer residents, having noticed that the needles on their favorite thuja have turned yellow in places, do not take any action and simply wait until new ones grow.

However, you can help the ornamental tree and enjoy its lush appearance much earlier.

Of course, it is impossible to save yellowed needles, but you can easily speed up the growth of new ones.

To begin with, after the snow has completely melted, loosen the soil under the trees. You should act carefully and not too deeply, so as not to inadvertently damage the roots.

After this, you can begin feeding using mullein infusion.

To do this, dilute 500 ml of purchased concentrate in 10 liters of water. If you have homemade concentrate at hand, keep the proportions 1 to 9. It is worth watering the thuja at the root.

Once you have finished fertilizing, begin mulching the tree trunk circle using pine needles, peat chips or crushed bark.

All that remains is to trim the yellowed needles and spray the plant with a solution of 1.5 ml of "Ferovit" added to 1 liter of water. After 2 weeks, the procedure should be repeated with "Epin": for 6 liters of water, you will need the same amount of the preparation as in the first case.
