Some folk remedies are no worse than expensive fertilizers, but help summer residents save a lot.
Ordinary yeast is rich in nitrogen and provides active growth for many plants. But this fertilizer is not suitable for all crops.
For cucumbers and roses
These plants love yeast feeding. Thanks to cucumbers, roses also develop faster.
To prepare the nutrient mixture, use 50 g of yeast per 1 liter of water. The solution is left in a warm place for 2-3 days, and then the total volume is brought to 5 liters.
The resulting solution is used to water cucumbers and roses at the roots.
Contraindications
Plants do not always need nitrogen, but only at the beginning of the growing season. Therefore, the introduction of yeast top dressing is relevant at the first stage after planting seedlings or in early spring, when roses awaken from winter sleep.
In addition, this fertilizer is not suitable for tomatoes, potatoes, onions. In addition to cucumbers and roses, various shrubs and eggplants are fed with yeast solution.
