If the area of your plot is limited, but you still want to try sweet and aromatic strawberries grown with your own hands, the solution to the situation is to plant the plants in garbage bags.

An expert of the online publication BelNovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh has compiled a list of what is needed for this.

The list included: the seedlings themselves, bags, soil, compost, organic fertilizers and parchment.

The optimal size of the bags is 50x50 cm. Parchment paper is needed to reduce the contact of the plant roots with the bag.

The required soil mixture can be easily prepared independently by mixing peat, sand, humus and compost in equal proportions.

Finally, don't forget to make sure that there are enough drainage holes in the bag.

Place stones or other material at the bottom of the bags to ensure good drainage, then fill them with soil mixture, leaving a small funnel at the top.

Strawberries should be planted leaving a distance of about 30 cm between the bushes. Finally, we will give one more valuable piece of advice: do not forget to remove excess foliage - this will increase your chances of success.
