In the spring, many summer residents plant cherry trees.

If you take into account all the nuances of the procedure, and then properly care for the crop, then the chances of a good harvest will be high.

There will be a lot of berries (or, to be more precise, drupes).

The fruits will not disappoint either with their size or taste. And hardly anyone will be able to refuse sweet and sour cherries.

But what exactly needs to be done during planting to make the first significant contribution to increasing yields?

What fertilizer mixture should be used?

Before planting the seedlings, you need to put fertilizer in the dug hole.

Moreover, it is unlikely that you will be able to limit yourself to just one, because you need to replenish the deficiency of several nutrients and microelements at once.

So, when planting cherries, the following fertilizers should be in the hole:

  • compost (10 liters);
  • potassium sulfide (50 grams);
  • superphosphate (100 grams).

The indicated volume and weight are per square meter of the plot.

After planting the seedling, the gardener can be sure that the plant will not experience a shortage of compounds important to it.
