Many gardeners and summer residents believe that it is hardly possible to get a rich potato harvest on a small plot.
This is not true. If you follow simple rules of watering and fertilizing, you can double your yield.
As for watering, it is extremely important to stick to it during the flowering period of the plants.
By the way, for convenience, you can carry out the procedure in the evening, then the sun will not shine brightly.
The advantage of evening watering: water is well absorbed into the soil, and sunburn does not appear on the leaves.
It is recommended to water each bush at the root, with approximately three liters of water.
A larger volume of watering can be allowed if the soil is sandy or sandy loam. But if the soil is loam or peat, it is worth reducing the volume.
The feeding rule is as follows: ash (three tablespoons per meter) and potassium sulfate (a teaspoon) during the period of bud formation.
Thanks to this “treat”, the potato receives the nutrients it needs, and, accordingly, the plant’s growth is stimulated.
