Among the countless garden pests, unpleasant slugs and snails periodically bother summer residents.

Despite their slowness, they can easily deal with the harvest or seedlings if the summer resident is distracted or goes to the city for a week. We will tell you how to deal with gastropods.

You can treat the area with chemicals in the spring. They say that there are already products on sale to combat these pests.

But who wants to ruin their own harvest with chemicals? There are safer options. And these options cost next to nothing.

First remedy

The easiest option is to protect plantings from slugs and snails using corn flour.

They say that pests cannot resist it, especially during times of famine.

The flour needs to be poured into a suitable container, dug into the ground or placed on its side.

Second remedy

You can prepare a trap with beer or kvass in a similar way. The gastropods are attracted by the piquant smell. After their visit, all that remains is to shake out the "catch", deal with the parasites as you see fit, and fill the trap with new contents.

Third remedy

You can brew strong coffee and then use it as a solution for spraying crops and soil.

Similar results can be achieved using salt, but it does not have the best effect on the condition of the soil.
