Fuchsia is a popular plant among gardeners, which they affectionately call “Japanese lantern”.
According to the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , caring for the flower is not difficult and includes standard procedures in the form of watering, fertilizing and, of course, replanting.
We will talk about the latter today.
It is worth replanting fuchsia every year with the onset of spring if you want the plant to delight you with abundant flowering.
A mixture consisting of turf, leaf soil, humus, peat and sand, taken in equal volumes, can be used as a substrate.
Another mandatory condition is a drainage layer. It can be constructed, for example, from expanded clay.
It will be better if you choose the transshipment method for transplanting fuchsia. To do this, pour some soil mixture into the pot on the drainage layer, and then transship the flower there together with the earth lump. The remaining voids should be filled with the same soil mixture.
Once the procedure is complete, place the plant in a place that receives good sunlight, cut the stems by a third, spray and water.
