How to plant a pear tree so that you can harvest before your neighbors: simple rules will help

What gardener would refuse the opportunity to quickly harvest young trees?

However, it takes a lot of time to wait for the seedlings to bear fruit. Fortunately, there is one way to plant a pear tree that will help the tree grow faster.

First of all, make sure that the hole for planting seedlings is deep enough. It should be 45-50 cm deep and 80 cm wide.

Now you can safely send here 10 kg of humus, 200 g of superphosphate, 40 g of ammonium nitrate and 80 g of potassium sulfate. All components should be mixed well.

Place the seedling on this fertilizer mixture, then spread out its roots and cover them with soil.

Please note: the soil layer above the roots should be at least 15 cm. The soil should be compacted a little.

Now shorten the seedling by a third (next year you can do without pruning) and you can move on to the most important thing - feeding.

Ammonium nitrate is the best choice for this – 50 g per 10 l of water. When the tree puts out its first leaves, it is time to feed it with urea – 30 g per 10 l of water. In addition, it is worth feeding the pear with potassium humate three times a year – during budding, in July and the last days of August.
