Mistakes when watering cucumbers can cause a sharp decrease in the yield of the garden crop.
And vice versa, if you water the plant correctly, the formed fruits will please the gardener with both quantity and quality.
When moistening the soil in which cucumber bushes grow, the gardener must take into account three important points.
They are related to the frequency and time of watering, as well as the temperature of the liquid used.
How often to water
During hot periods, cucumbers should be watered daily.
On moderately warm days, the procedure can be done less frequently and once every 3-4 days.
But on cloudy and rainy days, you can water cucumbers once a week. And if precipitation falls very often, then you can skip the procedure altogether.
When to water
It is recommended to water cucumbers either early in the morning or late in the evening.
It is not worth watering during the day. Especially if it is hot outside. After all, the liquid that gets into the soil will evaporate quickly anyway.
Water temperature
You can't water cucumbers with water that is too cold. You can't water them with water that is too hot either.
The liquid with which the gardener waters the plant should be moderately warm. The temperature of the water should not be lower than the air temperature.
