Even the shadiest garden can be turned into a paradise, you just need to choose shade-tolerant plants.
Such a plot can be filled with delicate ferns, bright hostas, and gorgeous geyheras. Among the shade-tolerant ones, there are also flowering specimens – astilbe and columbine.
Hosta (Golden Meadows)
An excellent option for partial shade. Hosta will fill the area with a touch of playfulness and enthusiasm. It has rounded wrinkled leaves that are twisted in all directions at once.
The bluish-green edging does not change, which cannot be said about the core, which undergoes amazing transformations from spring to autumn.
Aquilegia (Blue Barlow)
Aquilegia has powerful peduncles that firmly hold their "burden": double flowers 3-5 cm in diameter of a rich blue color. The plant develops in partial shade, is frost-resistant and generally unpretentious.
Heuchera (Georgia Peach)
The plant has peachy-orange foliage in the spring that gradually turns pink. By autumn, the Georgia Peach variety turns purple-pink. One of the plants that really shines when grown in shaded areas.
Astilbe (Amethyst)
The most shaded areas of the garden should be left for the plant. "Amethyst" blooms in mid-July and decorates the area with purple-amethyst panicles.
