What to plant "at the feet" of cucumbers to get a decent harvest: the neighbors will gasp

Many summer residents use a greenhouse to grow cucumbers.

However, if you want to save space and get an early harvest of not only cucumbers, but also other crops, joint plantings will come to the rescue.

In order for the plants that are destined to become neighbors to please you with their productivity, you should approach their selection wisely.

For example, in the case of cucumbers, “bonus” crops should love light fertile soil, high humidity, abundant watering, long daylight hours, and air temperatures in the range of +25 to +30 degrees.

Vegetables such as white cabbage and Chinese cabbage meet these requirements.

Another “faithful friend” of juicy and crunchy cucumbers is legumes, which release nitrogen into the soil, so don’t be lazy and place peas around the perimeter of the cucumber beds in the greenhouse.

By the way, after harvesting, it is not necessary to remove the plant roots from the soil - leaving them will only improve its fertility.

The third crop that will not refuse to grow in a greenhouse next to cucumbers is zucchini, but they should be planted at a sufficient distance, choosing cucumber hybrids for planting.
