Manure is considered a universal fertilizer. But you need to remember some nuances before using it in the garden.

Every gardener has heard that fresh manure should not be applied to plantings. This raises a logical question about when exactly soil should be fertilized with such a product.

Here we need to examine the question in more detail.

If you add fresh fertilizer in the spring, the plantings will simply "burn".

If you do add the product, it must be rotted, otherwise the fertilizer will have a depressing effect.

As experienced gardeners note, it is better to add humus that has already lain for some time. It should be prepared in the fall.

To do this, the manure needs to be placed in bags, closed to prevent moisture from getting inside, and moved under a canopy. As a result, all the useful elements will be preserved, insect eggs, weed seeds, etc. will die.

In the spring, it will be possible to add semi-rotted manure to the soil.
