As already noted, cucumber is a heat-loving crop. Therefore, you should not plant it until the temperature rises to stable positive levels.

By this time the soil should have warmed up to 10-12 degrees Celsius, and the air temperature should not fall below 10 degrees Celsius at night and 16 degrees Celsius during the day.

If you sow the seeds at a daytime air temperature of about 20 degrees Celsius, the shoots will appear within 14 days. At +25 in 10-12 days, and at +30 degrees no more than 10 days.

How to plant

1. You need to choose a sunlit area, protected from the cold wind.

2. The predecessors that could have grown in this place were cabbage, onions or nightshades, as well as carrots.

3. Cucumbers are not planted where pumpkin crops grew.

In April, the best days for sowing cucumbers are the 3rd and 4th, 8th and 9th, 15th, 17th, 18th, 26th and 27th. In May, sowing is carried out on the 1st, 2nd, 5th-7th, 12th-15th, 19th, 20th, 23rd, 24th, 27th and 28th.
