Experienced gardeners do not overpay for seedlings; they grow lavender directly from seeds, because it is easier than it seems.

Lavender decorates and fills the area with a pleasant aroma, which is why the plant is quite popular among summer residents.

Subtleties of sowing lavender

First, take two cotton pads. Spray them with water from a spray bottle, and then sprinkle lavender seeds on them.

The cotton pads are combined and placed in a small jar, which is tightly closed and placed in the refrigerator for a month.

Stratification is carried out in January-February at a temperature not exceeding +4 °C. The process takes from 30 to 40-50 days.

After 1-1.5 months, the seeds are scattered over the soil in a pot. The container is covered with a lid or a bag. In a few weeks, shoots will appear.

Lavender is planted in open ground in June. The plant prefers sunny, warm, wind-protected areas with dry and well-drained soil.
