Very soon we will have to start sprouting potatoes.
Usually, for this purpose, boxes filled with tubers are taken out from the place where they were stored, sorted, warmed up and wait for the sprouts to appear.
But there is another, much faster and more convenient way, which will take only 7 days.
So, the potatoes prepared for planting should be sorted, setting aside equal, medium-sized potatoes without signs of damage.
Next in line is the container in which the potatoes will be sprouted. You will need boxes without gaps, into which you should pour a layer of sawdust (can be replaced with peat).
The layer thickness should not be less than 3 cm. Then the used material should be moistened with water - this can be done conveniently using a spray bottle.
All that remains is a small matter: place a thick layer of potatoes on a layer of sawdust or peat, then sprinkle with sawdust (peat) again and spray with water again from a spray bottle.
This should be continued until the box is filled to the top. Note: the top layer should consist of the same sawdust (peat).
Now you can safely send the box to a room with a temperature of +15.. +18 degrees, and in 5-7 days you will see strong sprouts.
