Take a close look at the cultivated plants in your garden.
If your heather and coniferous plants are withering, looking dull, refusing to bloom and grow, then perhaps the problem lies in the wrong fertilizer.
Dolomite flour is added to deoxidize the soil to achieve favorable acidity and make it neutral.
However, some crops grow exclusively in acidic soil and for them, neutral soil is like death.
Plants that don't like dolomite flour
The fertilizer is designed to deoxidize the soil and is mainly used on heavy soils to improve their health.
Dolomite flour is not suitable for plants that require acidifiers rather than deacidifiers.
Who is contraindicated to use dolomite flour?
The following plants can be distinguished:
- Blueberries, bilberries, lingonberries, cranberries, azaleas, heathers will grow in acidic soils, as will some conifers. Such plants do not require dolomite flour.

For this purpose the following are used:
- test strips, special devices for measuring acidity, the soil can be taken to the laboratory.
In addition, you can take a closer look at what weeds grow on the site. Horsetail, woodlice, sedge, and plantain will appear on acidic soil.
