The first stage occurs when the potato begins to bloom. The second stage occurs when potato bulblets are formed.
If at these moments it is as dry as the Sahara outside, try to soak the potatoes well with water.
And, of course, we shouldn't forget about fertilizing. Since not every gardener has access to manure, experienced gardeners replace it with mustard cake, which they mix with ground dried peels from vegetables and fruits that have accumulated over the winter.
This mixture should be thrown into the holes when planting potatoes. Finally, the size of the tubers is also affected by the presence of a sufficient amount of such an element as sulfur in the soil, so do not forget to throw another 1 teaspoon of ammonium sulfate into the holes.
