There are so many things you can make from pumpkin! There are porridges, juices, pies, and, of course, caviar…

But the recipe book will just sit on the shelf collecting dust if the pumpkin harvest fails.

To prevent this from happening, you should take care of the bed in advance where you plan to grow this crop. Then you will be guaranteed a luxurious harvest even with minimal care.

You should start preparing a place for a pumpkin in the fall.

The selected area must be dug up and humus or manure added. In the spring, gardeners use phosphorus-potassium fertilizers, ash and organic matter as fertilizer.

That's basically it. Planting pumpkins is a simple process - place the seeds in holes, cover with soil, put a thin layer of mulch on top and water.

At first, you will have to water every other day, and when the first two true leaves appear, you can use green fertilizer.

Don't forget about one more important procedure: when you notice that the plant has started to twist, you need to pinch off the side shoots and the main stem.
