The variety of shapes and colors inherent in orchids is truly amazing. Perhaps that is why they have become one of the most popular indoor plants that can be found in almost every home.

If you are also a happy owner of exotic phalaenopsis, you will probably be interested to know what experienced flower growers do to achieve abundant flowering.

It turns out that orchids will be literally covered in flowers even when there are no fertilizers specially designed for them in stock.

Instead of store-bought fertilizers, it is enough to prepare lemon water.

To prepare it, you will need to dissolve a teaspoon of lemon juice in a liter of clean water.

If you don't have the liquid squeezed out of a bright yellow citrus, citric acid will do. 1 gram is enough.

The resulting mixture is first used to spray orchids. Then the lemon water is poured into a deep container, into which the flower pot itself must be placed.

Important: This method can only be used when there are no flowers on the plant. Otherwise, the buds risk falling off.
