Radish is a healthy vegetable that can be harvested quite early.
To get a truly high-quality harvest, you need to remember a few rules.
Landing site
The soil should be loose and fertile.
The beds should be well lit and it is also necessary to ensure that water does not linger on them.
Soil preparation
It is best to do this in the fall. You need to add mineral fertilizers, for example, nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium, which will ensure normal growth and development of the crop.
If this is not done, then two weeks after the emergence of seedlings, as experienced gardeners note, the beds should be watered with urea (a solution of half a tablespoon of the product per bucket of water), and after another 14 days, an ash solution or humate should be used.
Watering
You must not forget about this procedure, otherwise overdried soil will lead to the formation of bitterness in the fruits.
If the top layer of soil is already dry and the soil below is still wet, then you can start watering the plants.
