Different varieties

A gardener who undertakes to grow strawberries should not limit himself to just one variety.

It is desirable to have several varieties of garden strawberries growing in the strawberry beds.

Experience shows that this approach increases the chances of a rich harvest.

Using film

It is advisable to lay film between the rows. Moreover, the material should be black.

The presence of a dark film on the soil significantly reduces the risk of weeds appearing.

This means that the strawberries will receive sufficient nutrients and moisture.

Removing excess leaves

Approximately 10 days before the berries ripen, you should trim off excess leaf blades on the strawberry bushes.

You can safely remove every second leaf. And first of all, you need to cut off the plates that are an obstacle to the sun's rays.

This procedure will allow the berries to receive enough light and useful compounds. The strawberries will turn out bright red, tasty and juicy.
