Aphids damage cabbage leaves, which change color and curl, and the development of the head of cabbage is suspended.

There are two options for getting rid of aphids. The first consists of two cheap ingredients that you probably have at home. The second is a little more complicated, but it gives a full guarantee of destroying the pest.
Milk and iodine
A folk remedy used by thrifty gardeners: 10 drops of iodine are diluted in 500 ml of low-fat milk.
The product is poured into a spray bottle, shaken and sprayed on the cabbage. To make the solution stick better to the leaves, you can add 50 g of laundry soap.
Karbofos
To avoid pests, you need to regularly remove weeds, get rid of ants and not leave old cabbage stalks in the garden.
If aphids have already appeared, the plants need to be treated with a 0.3-0.4% solution of malathion. Spray 2-3 times per season. The last one should be done 30-45 days before harvesting.
