To get a good carrot harvest, you need to apply fertilizers during its growth.
You can feed carrots by preparing this fertilizer
Ingredients:
• saltpeter - 25 grams;
• superphosphate - 30 grams;
• potassium salt - 30 grams.
Directions for use:
• Dissolve all ingredients in 10 liters of clean water and treat the carrots.
• The second and third feeding of carrots with this solution can be done in the next three weeks.
• Treatment is carried out after sunset in the evening, after thoroughly watering the garden bed, or when there has been heavy rain.
• Carrots also respond well to organic fertilizers such as rotted animal manure and peat, applying approximately 10 kg of fertilizer per 1 square meter.
