Before fertilizing, you need to properly prepare your strawberry plantation by cutting off all old, dry or diseased leaves.
Plant residues must be burned, as they may contain pests and pathogens of dangerous diseases.
Once this operation is completed, you can start fertilizing.
To prepare the fertilizer, you will only need the ingredients that are likely to be found in every home. These are boric acid, iodine, potassium permanganate, and ammonia.
And here is the recipe for the nutrient composition, suggested by experienced gardeners: a 10-liter bucket should be filled 1/3 with hot water, and then dissolve in it ½ teaspoon of potassium permanganate and boric acid.
Now fill the bucket to the top with cold water, add 15 drops of iodine and 2 tablespoons of ammonia.
Once the contents of the container have been thoroughly mixed, you can begin watering.
For 1 bush you will need 0.4-0.5 liters of the prepared composition. Important: before fertilizing, do not forget to thoroughly water the strawberry beds 3-4 hours before.
