How to help raspberry bushes survive rainy weather without affecting the taste of berries: advice from seasoned gardeners

Neither drought nor heavy rains contribute to a good raspberry harvest.

So, in the first case, the berries grow small and there are disappointingly few of them. Regular watering will help to correct the situation.

The main thing is to make sure that the bushes receive enough moisture. This means that the soil needs to be watered to a depth of 30 cm.

But what to do in case of excess moisture, summer residents most often do not know, because during rains all the nutrients are washed out, and the roots become very wet.

You can help raspberries survive unfavourable conditions with foliar feeding.

For this purpose, potassium humate will come in handy; 1 tablespoon of it should be dissolved in 5 liters of water.

It is also worth adding a quarter teaspoon of boric acid and 50 grams of sugar to the resulting solution, having previously dissolved them in hot water.

Use this fertilizer to spray the bushes when the rain stops.
