A simple action that takes a second will ensure an enviable cabbage harvest.
When the time comes to plant the seedlings in a permanent place, you need to treat the roots of the young plants.
Thanks to this, you won't have to cut off tiny heads of cabbage. The bed will be filled with large, juicy and "crackling" heads that will become the basis for a dozen dishes.
Root fertiliser
To strengthen the root system of cabbage, prepare the following remedy: manure and clay (1:1) are poured with water. It should turn into a gruel, into which the young roots are dipped.
A thick mixture should remain on the sprouts. Immediately after this, the seedlings can be planted in a permanent place.
Additionally, a handful of ash and some humus are thrown into the hole. This is an excellent basis for cabbage, which will not need nutrition.
However, it is necessary to ensure that plants are not attacked by pests. Butterflies, slugs, snails and other uninvited "guests" constantly annoy summer residents.
