One of the mandatory procedures before sowing is the treatment of seeds with disinfectant solutions.
Hardening and germination methods are also widely known. But there is one interesting point that is practiced only in narrow circles - saturation of seeds with minerals.
For this you will need some wood ash and water.
Seed treatment
Before sowing for seedlings, the seeds must be prepared by disinfection (usually potassium permanganate or phytosporin is used), hardened if necessary, and germinated in damp gauze or cotton wool in a warm place.
Only a few people are involved in saturating the seed stock with minerals before sowing.
Experience at the dacha suggests that pepper and flower seeds respond particularly well to this procedure.
How to proceed
First of all, you need to disinfect the seeds, and then dissolve 20 grams of wood ash in one liter of clean, settled water and leave for a day.
Afterwards, all that remains is to place the seeds in gauze bags (this will make it easier to fish them out) and place them in the prepared infusion for 3-5 hours.
Next, they are extracted, washed, allowed to dry and used for their intended purpose: germinated or sown directly.
A similar effect is achieved by treating seeds with the growth stimulator "Epin" or its analogues. But in the case of ash, you will not have to overpay.
