How to Organize Drip Irrigation Using a Regular Bottle: A Useful Trick for Any Gardener

14.02.2023 11:19

Many summer residents think that organizing effective drip irrigation is not an easy task.

Fortunately, this is just a myth – if you decide to try such an irrigation system in your garden, stock up on a simple plastic bottle – and go ahead!

You will need a container with a capacity of 1 or 2 liters.

Cut off the bottom, then unscrew the lid and insert a small piece of foam rubber, which should first be folded in half, into the neck.

Now all that remains is to dig the bottle into the area where you plan to plant the seedlings and fill the container with water.

Please note: young seedlings should be placed at a distance of approximately 5 cm from the source of moisture.

This way you can provide your crops with a constant supply of water necessary for their growth and development and also reduce the likelihood of the plants developing surface roots.

And in order for the moisture to remain in the soil longer, it is worth taking care of such an operation as mulching. Hay or humus will help you with this.
