Violets are predominantly annual, less often perennial herbaceous plants that require special care.

Temperature
The first condition is the optimal temperature regime. For violets, this is 20 degrees. If it is observed, the plant gets stronger, and its flowering continues much longer. The worst enemy of the flower is a draft.
Due to the cold air, light brown spots appear on its petals, ruining the beauty of the bud. The condition of the plant itself does not deteriorate. However, with severe hypothermia, pus may form in the root part.
Watering
The second mandatory condition for rapid and full growth of violets is timely watering. It is best to use cool running water. To get rid of chlorine, you need to let it stand for several hours.
Then it is advisable to boil it to remove excess salts. After cooling, you can start watering - the water should be slightly warmer than the soil itself. It is important not to let the stem get wet, for which the watering can should be positioned vertically.
Lighting
The next important point is lighting. Violets love light, but not in the form of direct sunlight. Ideally, it should be moderate and diffused. The plant itself indicates that there is sufficient lighting.
If there is too much of it, the flower leaves bend downwards, otherwise they curl upwards. However, it is important to remember that the violet's needs are largely determined by its variety.
Humidity
The optimal humidity level for successful growth and flowering is about 50%. If the air is too dry, it is better to place a container of water near the plant.
This is especially important for small sprouts, which can even be covered with polyethylene. If condensation forms on the film, it should be removed for a while to air the flower.
Priming
For growing violets, it is better to use moisture-retaining soil. The air permeability of the soil will be ensured by adding natural material to it.
Soil acidity is of particular importance. To measure it, you can use a special indicator that can be found in any gardening store.
