The proximity to these plants results in a poor harvest for cherries: what every summer resident should know

When a cherry tree blossoms and does not bear fruit, this can still be understood, but when everything nearby blossoms and smells sweet, and a young seedling withers before your eyes, there is reason to think about mistakes.

Before planting a stone fruit seedling or planting a nearby neighbor, you need to remember some unsuccessful examples.

The best neighbors for cherries are sweet cherries, plums (but this tree does not like cherries), even elderberries help to gather a good harvest, and it is also good to plant grapes nearby.

It is better not to experiment with other trees.

Apple trees, if they are also tall, will definitely harm the cherry. They are planted next to each other no closer than 6-7 meters.

Peach, although it is a stone fruit and therefore considered almost a relative, should not grow next to cherry either - because of this, the bark on the trunk and branches of the latter may begin to peel off.

Of the bushes, gooseberries and raspberries should not be planted, as they can leave the cherry tree without nutrition.

Not the best flower options are gladiolus, tulips, lilies and daffodils.

If this is a young seedling, then the cherry will have a hard time near the black currant - it will get sick.
