Many indoor plant lovers find a place on the windowsill for the capricious but beautiful violet.
The flower is not as picky as the orchid, but it also requires certain conditions to be met.
Sometimes flower growers replant and feed the plant, but the violet stubbornly refuses to bloom. The plant only grows a lot of leaves or does not develop at all.
In this case, it is worth leaving the soil alone, not replanting the flower and not adding new fertilizers. It is better to try one trick, which experienced gardeners sometimes resort to.
"Shock therapy"
You will need a container that will fit the pot with the violet. Pour enough warm water into it so that the pot is completely immersed.
The temperature of the liquid should be within 40-50 °C. The pot with the plant is immersed in water for 30-60 seconds, and then returned to its original place. It is necessary to ensure that the soil dries well.
There is another option. Give the violet a warm shower (up to 60 °C) for 15-20 seconds. Thanks to this trick, the plant will form flower stalks within 1-2 weeks.
