Houseplant lovers often have a desire to grow some exotic plant in their apartment.

One of the options could be persimmon – the joy and pride of many amateur flower growers.

You can grow persimmon, the main thing is to know a few simple planting rules.

Selecting a bone

Many people underestimate the importance of this nuance. Most people think that any seeds are suitable for planting.

In fact, you need to pay attention to the fruit from which the planting material is extracted. It should not be green or overripe, and it should not have been frozen.

There is a proven method that will tell you more accurately which bone will work best. Prepare a solution: 2 tbsp. per 1 liter of water.

Once in the liquid, non-viable variants will float to the surface within a few minutes.

Preparing the bones

The selected planting material is placed in wet peat crumbs or sand. The container with the seeds is placed in the refrigerator for 1.5 months.

The seeds are then placed in a wet cloth and placed close to a heat source, such as a radiator. The swollen seed coat is cut with a blade and then sent into the soil.
