There are many species of Kalanchoe, but the most common is Kalanchoe Degremontiana.
According to the expert of the online publication Belnovosti, scientist-agronomist, landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh , this plant owes its popularity to its unique healing properties.
But today we will talk not about this, but about how, having one plant, you can get many new ones.
If you look closely at the flower's leaves, you can see small formations with roots along their edges. These are nothing more than the plant's babies, which are what we need.
To separate them from the leaf, you should arm yourself with tweezers.
By the way, if you delay this procedure, the babies will separate from the Kalanchoe on their own and take root right there, in the soil, under the mother plant.
To plant the babies, you should prepare the soil in advance - it should be light, air- and water-permeable.
Place the future plants on the soil surface, leaving a distance of 4 cm between them, and lightly press their roots into the soil.
All that remains is to thoroughly spray the plantings and cover the container with the babies with glass. Do not forget to remove the cover and spray the plants - this should be done every 2 days.
