Not all summer residents can boast of a successful carrot harvest at the end of the season – often the root crops grow small, gnarled and tasteless.

An expert of the online publication Belnovosti, agronomist, and landscape designer Anastasia Kovrizhnykh told how gardeners act “from experience” so that the quantity and quality of harvested carrots evoke only positive emotions.

The first time fertilizer is applied 2-3 weeks after the shoots appear. Green fermenter is the best choice for this.

If you want the carrots to grow sweet and juicy, use an ash solution after 2-3 weeks.

To prepare it, you will need to dilute 1 glass of ash in 10 liters of water.

Thanks to this product, root vegetables will be provided with potassium, magnesium, phosphorus, sodium and other microelements.

You should also spray the carrot beds with boric acid. First, dissolve 5 g of powder in a small amount of hot water, then pour it into 10 liters of water.

This fertilizer has a beneficial effect on both the taste of vegetables and their quantity.
