Not all summer residents know the benefits that ordinary eggshells can bring to plants.
Some gardeners are completely skeptical about this type of feeding.
However, farmers who successfully use such fertilizers assure that the lack of results may be due to improper preparation of the nutrient composition.
Therefore, if you are seriously thinking about how to “feed” your seedlings, follow the recipe described below exactly.
To begin with, the remaining eggshells should be thoroughly washed and left to dry on a radiator for 2-3 days.
After this, it should be ground into powder using a coffee grinder. 2 tablespoons of this powder should be poured into a jar and filled with 150 ml of 9% vinegar.
Mix the resulting mixture thoroughly and leave it for 7 days under a closed lid. After a week, the solution should be filtered and used for watering. You will need 1 tablespoon of concentrated fertilizer per liter of water.
It is worth feeding seedlings with eggshells once every three weeks.
