How to understand that there is nothing to save: a sure sign of a frozen tree

Winter in the garden can rarely pass without leaving a trace. Flowers, bushes, and trees can freeze if not properly prepared.

In the spring, you can water and fertilize the affected crops for a long time without success, until you suddenly discover that the tree has died.

Here are the signs that will indicate that there is nothing left to save, i.e. the tree is frozen.

If one or more branches are damaged by the cold, it is not a big deal. Everything can be fixed within a few months.

Even a hardy apple tree may not survive the cold.

What can we say about heat-loving apricots, cherries and even pears?

You can endlessly break off dry branches and shoots, listen to the crunch, and so on.

But this is the only way to accurately determine that a tree has died.

You need to wait for warmth and flowering time. If the tree has only suffered from cold, then flowering will show everything.

With the spring warmth it will wake up, and thanks to the strength accumulated in the fall, the buds will open and it may even bloom.

After this, the frozen tree will begin to recover, albeit slowly.

If the situation is critical, the flowering will not last long. The tree will wither completely unexpectedly.

In this case, any rescue attempts are useless.
