Promises to eliminate weeds from the garden forever are nothing more than promises. The seeds of uncultivated plants retain their germination capacity for years, and for germination they require a minimum - soil and sunlight.
However, you can try to tidy up the area.
It's not even about manual weeding, which is only effective on damp soil. If you weed in a drought, the roots will break off and remain in the ground.
There are some interesting folk remedies that can delay the growth of weeds for a certain period, but then nature will still take its toll.
Method one
After digging up the soil in the spring, you can dissolve a small amount of soda in boiling water (2 tablespoons per liter of water) and pour this solution over the soil. However, you can harm the soil microflora, so it makes no sense to treat the paths in the garden this way.
Method two
Dissolve salt and soda (2 tablespoons per liter) and 10 tablespoons of vinegar (9%) in boiling water. This solution is good for treating the seams between tiles if grass has started to grow. Any living thing (in terms of vegetation) is guaranteed to die within 24 hours from such a composition.
