When the euro equals the dollar in value
In early November, Bloomberg reported, citing European financial analysts, that the European currency would equal the American currency in price by the end of the year. According to Razuvaev, such a scenario is quite likely.
Dollar-euro parity is quite likely by the time Trump takes office in January 2025, the analyst said.
Razuvaev recalled that Trump promised to introduce duties on goods from Europe.
If these plans are realized, the euro may fall below parity, reaching 0.95 euros per dollar, according to the expert’s forecast, Bankiros.ru reports.
