On Thursday, October 10, the situation with the single European currency changed dramatically in Belarus.
The EU's main currency has suffered an unexpected and very serious defeat.
The loss was 0.67 percent at once. This has not happened to the euro for more than a month.
But the dollar has won another victory over the Belarusian ruble.
Current exchange rates
On the fourth day of the week, the following exchange rates for the main currencies were established on the Belarusian Currency and Stock Exchange :
- dollar - 3.3011 BYN;
- euro - 3.62 BYN;
- 100 Russian rubles - 3.4205 BYN;
- 10 Chinese yuan - 4.7156 BYN.
How have exchange rates changed?
The dollar, which won its fourth victory in a row, this time strengthened by 0.0102 points (+0.31 percent).
The euro, which had been showing steady growth over the previous two days, lost 0.0246 points today.
The Russian ruble suffered another defeat - minus 0.41 percent.
The yuan has unexpectedly returned to a downward trend. Following today's trading, China's currency has "lost weight" by 0.32 percent.
