The efficient operation of the economy has ensured high rates of growth in citizens' incomes.
Deputy Minister of Economy Tatyana Brantsevich announced this on October 3 at a meeting of the National Council on Labor and Social Issues.

How much have Belarusians' incomes increased?
According to the results of 7 months of 2024, real incomes of Belarusians increased by 9.9%. The growth rate significantly exceeds the forecast.
As Brantsevich explained, the main driver of income growth was the growth of wages, which in real terms increased by 13.2% in January-August.
The level of wages for employees of budgetary organizations is also increasing at a comparable rate.
In certain categories they are higher than the national average, the deputy minister noted.
Thus, in January-August, the salaries of educators in real terms increased by 14.9%, and teachers by 21.7%.
The increase in income contributed to the growth of retail turnover (by 12% in January-August).
Government measures to curb inflation also contributed significantly to the growth of incomes.
According to our estimates, the consumer price index will not exceed the forecast values by the end of the year, the Deputy Minister of Economy summed up.
