Representatives of the Belkoopsoyuz procurement organizations are coming en masse to visit Belarusian villagers, gardeners and summer residents.
They come with money. The population is given it for seasonal products offered by people - they pay for vegetables, fruits, mushrooms, berries.
Moreover, the purchase is carried out in large batches, - Deputy Head of the Department of Procurement and Foreign Economic Activity of Belkoopsoyuz Yuri Sokolovsky told Belta.
What do they buy?
As of September 2, 11,000 tons of apples, 2,900 tons of cucumbers, 1,900 tons of tomatoes, 4,500 tons of cabbage, and 25,500 tons of grain have already been purchased from the population.
In addition, 423 tons of watermelons, 130 tons of raspberries, 50 tons of blueberries and 26 tons of mushrooms were purchased.
Some of the prepared products will be sold through the Belkoopsoyuz retail network and catering facilities.
Another part will be sent for industrial processing, and a third part is planned for export.
As for purchase prices, according to the deputy head, they are set taking into account the market situation, the quality of the product, its grade and size, the expected sales market and areas of use.
Prices
As of September 2, prices were as follows:
– garlic – from 4 to 7 rubles per kilogram;
– chanterelles – from 3 to 7 rubles per 1 kilo;
– lingonberries – from 3 to 3.5 rubles per kilo;
– raspberries – from 1.5 to 5 rubles per kilo;
– cucumbers – from 1.7 to 2.5 rubles per kilo;
– tomatoes – from 1.1 to 2 rubles per kilo;
– apples – from 1 to 2.2 rubles per kilo (commercial) and from 10 to 23 kopecks (for industrial processing);
– watermelons and onions – from 80 kopecks to 1.2 rubles per kilo;
– cabbage – from 70 kopecks to 1.3 rubles per kilo;
– chokeberry – from 60 kopecks to 1.5 rubles per kilo;
– potatoes – from 50 to 90 kopecks per kilo;
– carrots – from 55 to 85 kopecks per kilo;
– beets – from 50 to 85 kopecks per kilo.
At present, harvesting continues throughout Belarus. This means that villagers, gardeners and summer residents who have collected fruits, vegetables, mushrooms or berries can earn some extra money.
