It has recently become clear that the incomes of Belarusian residents have accelerated, and their real wages have increased significantly.
This statement was made by analysts from the Eurasian Development Bank as part of a traditional weekly review of the economies of countries that are part of the EAEU.
The experts published the report on the official Telegram channel of the EDB.
According to their data, the real wages of Belarusians in July of this year rose by 15.4% after a June increase of 11.2%.
This is the highest growth rate since October 2023, - the bank's competent representatives point out.
They also say: in Belarus, wages in nominal terms are increasing against the backdrop of demand from organizations for workers.
It is also noted that the republic has recorded increases in bonuses for some public sector employees.
According to experts, these factors “support the expansion of consumer demand in the economy” of Belarus.
