What foods slow down aging
As Ginzburg explained, the ideal option is the Mediterranean diet.
It includes vegetables, fruits, berries, nuts, cereals, fish, dairy products, herbs, spices.
Confectionery products and any types of meat, except poultry, are allowed occasionally, Ginzburg clarified.
Of the vegetables, he advised including cucumbers, broccoli, cauliflower, onions, and carrots in the diet.
Of the fruits, citrus fruits, pears, grapes, dates, and figs are especially useful.
When it comes to fish and seafood, give preference to salmon, tuna, oysters and mussels; when it comes to poultry, give preference to turkey and duck.
Among cereals, choose buckwheat and brown rice. Bread should be whole grain.
Ginzburg also advised eating walnuts, almonds and pumpkin seeds.
