Many people want to normalize their weight.
But not everyone is ready to count calories and give up their favorite dishes.
This is why some people have turned to such an interesting approach as intuitive eating.
What is intuitive eating
The essence of the method is as follows: a person focuses not on the maximum permissible amount of calories, not on the time of eating, but on the feeling of hunger and satiety.
In other words, he starts eating exactly when he feels hungry.
A person eats exactly as much as he wants. And he consumes exactly what he wants. There are no "forbidden products".
At the same time, everything possible is done to ensure a timely onset of satiety and to prevent overeating. This means chewing food slowly, as well as avoiding unnecessary actions during meals (watching TV, working on the computer, reading).
The Benefits of Intuitive Eating
All the advantages of this approach are obvious. Firstly, you don’t have to give up your favorite dishes and eat unloved ones. A person will continue to enjoy food.
Secondly, there will be no irritability, feeling of fatigue or “breakdowns”.
Thirdly, a person will receive exactly those substances and microelements that he needs.
Fourthly, you will save time, because you won’t have to spend a lot of time counting calories and making a meal plan.
Cons of Intuitive Eating
The first disadvantage: this type of diet does not guarantee rapid weight loss. Most likely, the excess weight will go away very slowly.
It is possible that the weight will remain the same. Therefore, the person will have to accept that his appearance will remain the same. Perhaps it will be necessary to make the following conclusion: "Yes, I will always remain a little overweight, but at least I won't have to torture myself with diets."
The second drawback: a person following the principles of intuitive eating may incorrectly “understand” his or her body. Overeating due to a false sense of hunger is not excluded.
Important point: before changing your diet, you need to consult with a doctor.
Earlier, a nutritionist-endocrinologist told which people need to eat radishes as often as possible.
