The apartments of book lovers are sure to contain a lot of different types of literature.

As a rule, thick and not very thick volumes are stored on open shelves along the entire wall, in bookcases or racks.

It would seem, what is the problem? And it is: due to the fact that most printed publications have different formats and covers, it is impossible to create a single harmonious composition. The expert of the online publication "BelNovosti", designer Yulia Tychino, is convinced.

Moreover, as sad as it may be, literature is rarely used for its intended purpose.

More often than not, it just overloads the interior, creates visual noise and takes up space that could be used for other purposes.

If you don't want to put up with this state of affairs, first of all, review the publications you have.

Set aside books that you open at least once or twice a month - they deserve to be kept in plain sight.

To create a harmonious and cohesive look and avoid a motley and disorganized chaos, purchase book covers that are all in the same style.

Alternatively, choose antibooks, i.e. funny covers that surprise, scare, amuse and shock your guests. For example: “Paired socks: myth or reality”, “How to make a million on beer caps”, “Borscht as a means of uniting the family”.

Thanks to them, books will last longer, look aesthetically pleasing and add humor to your life.
