Until recently, all apartment owners were convinced that if they tiled the walls and floor in the bathroom, it would be convenient and durable.
Perhaps, but the expert of the online publication BelNovosti, designer Yulia Tychino, has her own opinion on this matter.
If you decide to lay tiles up to the ceiling in your bathroom, be prepared for a number of disadvantages that you will have to face.
Firstly, your interior cannot be called modern: classic tiles in bathroom decoration have been replaced by other materials: wallpaper, paint, etc.
Secondly, you will have to pay a considerable amount of money for the purchase, installation and removal of tiles.
What to do? A simpler, faster and more budget-friendly solution would be to lay tiles up to the middle of the wall and wallpaper or paint the upper part.
Consider this option: decorate the wall insulated from water with wallpaper, the surface behind the bathtub with tiles, and the rest of the walls with paint.
At the same time, do not forget that all materials used in the bathroom must be moisture resistant.
