Plastic window sills
Let's get straight to the downsides: such plastic structures look simple and ordinary and, moreover, they very quickly lose their attractive appearance.
If possible, replace plastic window sills with wooden ones made of natural stone or other high-quality material. They last longer, and the interior with them will be much more interesting.
Sockets not suitable for bathrooms
In rooms with high humidity levels (the bathroom is one of them), it is necessary to install sockets equipped with a special protective cover.
When choosing sockets, pay attention to the protection level. It usually consists of the letters IP and two numbers. In the bathroom, it is recommended to use sockets with a protection class of at least 4.
Uneven whitewashed ceiling
In addition to whitewashing, there are many options for finishing the ceiling, including plasterboard and stretch ceilings. They allow you to hide unevenness, communications, pipes and joints between slabs.
Choose a ceiling that will expand the space and make it cozy. Avoid bright colors and patterns. A good choice would be a matte stretch ceiling in gray or beige, which will visually enlarge the room.
