According to the museum standard, the poster should be hung at a height of 1.52 meters from the floor to the center of the poster. But instead of blindly following the standards, it is worth considering the dimensions of the specific room and the height of the ceilings.
Here are some ideas for poster placement.
1. Above the bed – decor can be placed at a height of up to 25 cm from the head of the bed.
2. Above the sofa – if the sofa is small, then one poster in the center is enough, while for large-sized furniture a composition of several posters is suitable.
3. Above a fireplace, chest of drawers or table is the perfect place for decorative accents. Posters in white frames can be placed in a square, creating the illusion of a window.
