So, if the window opens onto a balcony, it is better to buy thick straight curtains from the ceiling to the floor to hide the flaws of the opening.
For a bay window, curtains should repeat the configuration of the wall. In this case, the correct choice and installation of the cornice is important.
If the window opening is rounded, it is better to hang the curtains right up to the ceiling to hide the upper part of the window opening and add harmony to the interior.
To decorate dormer windows, you can use classic curtains, roller blinds or blinds.
If the window is located in the center of the room, it is recommended to install a ceiling cornice and fittings along the entire length of the wall.
If there are two windows on the wall, the cornice is installed on the entire wall. Three curtains are hung on it: one in the middle and two on the edges. It is recommended to use the same textiles to create a harmonious and cozy interior.
If the window is located asymmetrically (for example, closer to the corner of the wall), then one wide curtain is hung that covers the entire opening.
